The Early Days
We began in 1992, when most IT talent companies focused on speed and headcount rather than retention or talent experience. That’s when we saw an opportunity to put people at the center and build lasting relationships.
We committed to long-term matches and staying accountable for outcomes like quality of hire and consultant success, not just the number of placements or time-to-fill. That mindset shaped our early years and everything that followed.

Co-Founder & CEO
Under Ranjini’s leadership, Artech has grown into one of the largest women-owned IT staffing firms in the U.S., with a strong global delivery footprint. With a background in computer science, a JD from Yale Law School, and early experience in corporate finance and M&A, she has guided three decades of growth, helping Artech surpass $925M in revenue.
Ranjini is regularly recognized as a transformative voice in staffing, including being named to SIA’s Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list. She also serves on boards such as the American Staffing Association and WBENC.

Ajay Poddar
Co-Founder & Executive Vice President
Ajay Poddar brings deep expertise across technology, finance, and workforce solutions. With degrees in computer engineering and computer science, along with an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern, he has played a key role in shaping Artech’s evolution from a startup into a global partner.
His experience spans financial services—including retail banking, asset management, tax, and capital markets—and has been instrumental in building long-standing relationships with leading financial and insurance institutions. He focuses on strengthening Artech’s financial foundation and ensuring its strategic readiness as it advances toward the $1B milestone.
